So, you’re re-doing your front hallway, but you have no idea how to decorate it. You’ve done your part binging HGTV, and have decided it’s time to it’s time to invest in a decent looking mirror for the wall.
Mirrors can really make a space feel bigger, so hanging one is a huge plus if you’re entryway is a little on the smaller size (we can’t all have grand staircases). Mirrors give the allusion of more space then you have, I recommend either hanging a decorative mirror on the wall opposite or beside the door.
Another strong point in favour of hanging a mirror in you hallway is that they give your guests a chance to straighten up. If you live in Canada, half of the year is spent in coats, boots and hats that give you the look of a disheveled Michelin man. It’s always good to give your visitors a moment to check the mirror and assess that yes, that tuque did give them hat hair.
No matter what your personal style is, a mirror has and will always be a classic choice to have in an entryway. Whether you’re wanting to double check your outfit on the way out, or you’re looking to make a small entryway bigger, adding a mirror is always the answer.
