So, you just moved into a new huge house, or maybe you’re doing a bathroom renovation. You finally have those double sinks you’ve been dreaming about. The only problem, your mirrors look like the mirrors from every nightmare building site. You know the ones, just giant rectangles of glass holding on for dear life, affixed to the wall with only a couple of small clips.
You have several options at this point. This is when you have to make some big mirror decisions such as: What shape do I want, what size do I want, and most importantly, will these mirrors match my vanity? All good questions. When putting mirrors over a double sink, try going for two smaller mirrors instead of one massive one, this creates lovely symmetry and is a much more trendy and modern choice.
Next, what sizes and styles. Now these are a little more up to you. I recommend choosing a style that won’t go out of fashion anytime soon (as heavy, large mirrors are a waking nightmare to re-hang). Try to stick with wood frames, metal frames or a simple frameless option. In terms of matching them to your vanity, it’s a nice idea to match them to the handles on your cabinets, or the colour palette in the space.
