Dining Room
These rooms tend to be well decorated, but people often struggle to find wall art to suit a formal space. If you’re looking to make the mood lighting in your dining room nice, add a mirror to reflect the candle light to add a great design touch.
Living Room Trays
Mirrors don’t always have to be hung. A great and functional decor piece to have is a mirror tray. These are perfect if you’re someone who often has guests. Rather than having everyone put their drinks on your two small side tables, create an extra spot with a mirror tray for your living room ottoman.
Hallway
If you have a hallway with lower light, adding a mirror can really brighten up the space. The mirror will bounce light around, as well as (if you add a larger mirror) give the allusion of a wider hallway.
Over the Mantel
Instead of putting some sad landscape painting, add a mirror to your fireplace mantel for a more modern look. I recommend going for a circular mirror for a minimalist and classic approach. These mirrors make styling your mantel easy for any season since they’re a solid neutral piece you won’t have to switch out every season.
Over the Door
For all of you who don’t have space for a large decorative mirror, stick to an over the door option. If you’re an apartment dweller, or simply don’t have a large room, this is a great solution. These clever mirrors hook onto your door and fit flush against them, saving you much needed space.
Over the Couch
If you’re not really wanting to spend five hours creating a gallery wall above your couch, why not add a large mirror? I recommend hanging it around a foot above the top of the couch, also, don’t be afraid to go BIG. The space above a couch can be an awkward size, so getting a large or custom sized mirror can be an easy design option.
