Bathroom
The most common place in the home for a mirror. You can find single or double vanity mirrors in bathrooms, giving your guests a chance to fix their hair, makeup or simple put in some contact lenses. Bathroom mirrors offer your guests and yourself a moment to recollect and readjust.
Front Hallway
This is a place that often can be neglected in your home. Depending on your front door situation, it may also be a dark space. Mirrors offer the bonus of bouncing light around a space to brighten it up. Having a brighter, more cheerful front entryway will make sure you and your family feels welcome when they step into your home. Some fun mirror options for a front entryway include a larger round mirror hanging above a console, or perhaps a mirror gallery wall, creating a fun and eclectic entrance.
Over A Fireplace
As mentioned above, mirrors can bounce light around. Hanging a mirror above a fireplace can warm up a room, creating a soft cozy light and atmosphere. Having an warm and well lit living room will create a cozy space for you to sit and relax in. For a more minimal look, use either a simple black metal round or rectangle mirror, but for a more traditional farmhouse look, use a custom wood framed mirror.
Dining Room
Another space where lighting is key. Having either a large single mirror, or a mirror gallery wall will make sure that the lighting in your dining room is perfect. Dining rooms are a great place to go a little more glamorous on design, so feel free to use a bolder gold or silver framed mirror in this space.
In A Closet
If you’re a little strapped for room, but still want a mirror in your bedroom, opt for an over the door mirror in your closet. These mirrors are great for apartment or condo owners with limited wall or floor space. I would recommend going for a simple white or black framed mirror that matches the paint of your door to keep it simple and not add any visual clutter to the crowded closet.
