Beveled Glass
For a more modern or minimalist look, I recommend no bevel, but for a traditional or more glamorous space, add a bevel to the glass to create even more visual interest.
Frame
Custom mirror frames are a great way to match your mirror to your space. I recommend black wood, white wood or metal framed mirrors for a clean minimalist look. Natural wood frames are perfect for a more farmhouse or traditional look. If you’re looking for a bold statement mirror, use a thick textured metallic frame.
Shape
If you’re someone who likes simple classic design, choose a simple round or rectangle mirror. If you’re looking for a conversation starter use geometric or organically shaped mirrors. There has recently been a huge influx of organic shaped mirrors, these mirrors are often frameless and are perfect for bohemian or Scandinavian spaces.
Size
Online custom mirrors come in a variety of sizes. When choosing the size of your mirror, consider the space, and if you want the mirror to the functional and subtle, or if you want it to be eye catching. Larger mirrors have the added bonus of making a room appear bigger by bouncing more light around. If it’s going somewhere like over the couch, go big, but if it’s in a gallery wall of art, go small and subtle.
