Go Big
This one may be obvious, but a large custom mirror taking up a large wall can be dramatic and eye catching. If you’re looking for a bigger mirror, I would suggest ticking to a simple black metal or wooden framed mirror since the size of the mirror is so large, a simple custom mirror is best. Large mirrors can be hung, or sit on the ground (this is a great way to decorate that one random strangely shaped corner in your room).
Gold or Metallic
Now with gold and metallic statement mirrors, you can go one of two directions, modern or vintage. For a modern look, go for a thinner metal frame, or a gold frame with texture for a glamorous look. For a classic and vintage look, get a mirror with scrollwork frame. These antique styles add a grandiose look to any room.
Unusual Shape
If you’re space is a little more eclectic and you’re looking for a funky design element, go for an unusually shaped frameless mirror. These mirrors can either have straight edges (octagonal, hexagonal, etc.) or are random organic shapes. This fun and fresh design choice will give your wall some visual interest and be a great conversation starter.
Mirror Gallery Wall
Instead of just having one large and fancy mirror, why not add a mirror gallery wall to your room or hallway? This options is prefect for a stairwell or a large wall you’re unsure how to decorate. Try to vary the sizes of the wall mirrors, adding a few smaller, a couple of medium and maybe on to three larger mirrors. Make sure to stick to an uneven number as these look best in design.
